Redefining ILS New York Event

Context:

Vesttoo is recognized in the insurance and high-tech sectors, but many investors lack a deep understanding of the reinsurance field. To position Vesttoo as a thought leader, education became a priority. The company decided to launch the first edition of the Redefining ILS event in New York, with the potential to scale globally.

Business challenge: 

  • Event Launch: Successfully execute the inaugural event in New York and ensure scalability for future global editions.

Creative Challenge & Constraints:

  • Create a sub-brand logo that integrates Vesttoo’s core identity while highlighting the event’s focus on networking and education.
  • Ensure the logo is versatile enough to adapt to multiple locations and can be easily reproduced by external teams with limited design resources.

My Contribution

  • Logo Design & Branding
    • Designed a sub-logo that incorporated Vesttoo’s existing branding to ensure instant recognition.
    • Developed a scalable visual identity for the event that conveyed professionalism and approachability.

 

  • Guidelines & Templates
    • Created simple guidelines and provided templates for consistent branding across materials.
    • Delivered a master design for the inaugural event, enabling external production teams to adapt creatives efficiently for future editions.

  • Event Collaboration
    • Worked closely with the U.S.-based production team to ensure seamless execution of design assets for the event.
    • Provided guidance and support to ensure materials aligned with the event’s goals and Vesttoo’s brand standards.

  • Stakeholder Presentation Management
    • Coordinated and adapted stakeholder presentations to ensure they were visually engaging, on-brand, and technically optimized for the event.
    • Collaborated with presenters to refine their content and delivery, enhancing the overall attendee experience.

Outcome

  • Successfully launched the inaugural $1M event Redefining ILS event in New York, with a positive ROI of 150%
  • Delivered a scalable event identity that can be reused for future editions globally.
